This is a good thread. I have board games just sitting in a closet that I should get out and get my kids to play with me.

Axis & Allies (Excellent game, better then the computer one)

Conquest of the Empire (Excellent game, better watch inflation in the game)

Dark Tower (A fun old style electronic game. Quite a bit dated though)

Electronic Stratigo (Still a fun game, there are rules on how to use the bombs though)

First game ever played was Doom.....back in DOS times. I was 3 years old, found out the password to play, and viola...hooked on DOOM since '94. Console...well, somewhere around the N64.

Spacewar!

Well, no. Actually, the first games I remember playing were good ol' win3.1 ultra-pixelated edutainment stuff when I was 3 back in the early '90s (my parents made sure I started off playing something with 'educational value'). The first game I really remember buying and playing for pure entertainment was Age of Empires, after having played it at a friend's house. That game was awesome, and the first of dozens to have sucked up hours and hours of my life.

This will show my age but I remember playing pong for hours on end. My game started with the Atari 2600, Colecovision(? Spelling), and the comador, then upgraded to the Atari 7800(WOOT).

My first online game was Diablo II(started right before 1.08 patch ended)
